APPLICATION
Working with our installation partner CILS, our client required a quick and simple solution to reduce energy and maintenance costs across this huge distribution centre that serves a large part of the stores in the south of England.

Time was important as the centre operates 24/7 so opportunity to carry out any upgrade work was limited.

We decided to upgrade the twin T8 fluorescent fittings with Philips LED tubes as this would meet all of the requirements with minimal disruption.

In all 5,400 22 watt lamps were switched out in a carefully coordinated installation resulting in an energy load saving of 57% or 135 KW.

Further costs savings are enjoyed with the reduction in expensive lamp changes.
